We’ve got a pool party around Nicky’s

at two because the sun’s out

and I know you don’t want to go

but don’t you think you owe it to her

after what happened at Sally’s?

then it’s Chris’ sister’s niece Kris’ birthday party

so don’t forget to bring a few snacks

some cocktail sausages and prawn cocktail Skips

I know you don’t like them, but Kris is five well six

and it’s the only flavour she can stand

then we’ve got your Dad coming around for tea

so make sure you’ve got that frozen food ready

to go and don’t forget to bin the packaging

because you know he prefers home cooked

and you never know what meetup will be the last

when you’re with him so you best savour it

a few cups of tea around Sally’s
